Erwin, earlier named Duke, had a population of 4,405 as of the 2010 census. More recently, in 2018, the population was estimated at 5,078. Being one of the smallest cities in the state of North Carolina didn’t prevent things like the opioid crisis to happen and bother the authorities. With so many people struggling with opioid addiction, the methadone clinic in Erwin could be the starting point of change for many of them. As a matter of fact, methadone clinics in North Carolina are nationally accredited and offer methadone treatment as probably the best treatment available for treating opioid use disorder. Some of these clinics also offer additional psychological sessions and therapies as a complement to the methadone treatment. When combined together, these two treatment methods give the best results and enable patients to achieve full recovery. Apart from these treatment methods, strong support from friends and family members is more than welcome. This support gives a sense of hope to all patients who are fighting opioid dependency. With a strong will and much effort, patients who take the first step and become program enrollees have a chance to regain their life and achieve happiness once again.
