Clinic Description

Aegis Treatment Centers Atascadero is a methadone clinic in Atascadero , also known as one of the most known methadone clinics in California. They currently have two offices that can be found on the Central Coast. One of the offices is designed as a medical part of the clinic while the other is for counseling sessions. This means that this clinic does not provide only physical therapy, but also psychological. There is a wide range of groups to pick from, including group and individual sessions, two Keys to Recovery support groups and medication and physician appointments. For chronically relapsing patients, there is a special program named the Restart Button which was invented at this center specifically to help patients who would like to try getting treated again. The primary medication used here is methadone, an opioid that helps patients detoxify and wean off gradually which might last up to six months.
