Clinic Description
Formerly known as Aegis Medical Systems, Aegis Treatment Center has a clinic for adults in Wilmington, California. Their specialties include medication assisted treatment, outpatient treatment, and aftercare support. Specialized services are offered for pregnant women. Telehealth appointments are available.
Their medication program helps clients safely detox from alcohol, opioids, and other drugs in a medically supervised environment. As needed, a team of multi-disciplinary providers can administer FDA-approved addiction medications, including methadone and buprenorphine, to reduce the physical pain of withdrawal, mitigate cravings, and lessen relapse risk. This location offers extended dosing hours to serve the needs of the Wilmington community.
In addition to MAT, they offer outpatient treatment to help clients understand and address the emotional, mental, and social aspects of their addictions. Treatment plans are individualized for each client based on their needs and recovery goals and can include evidence-based modalities like motivational interviewing. There’s also holistic meditation and mindfulness. Available services include individual and group counseling, addiction education, medication management, peer support groups, life skills and relapse prevention training, and educational programming. Their aftercare support includes access to weekly group counseling and the Keys 2 Recovery Group, which meets twice a week. Providers can also make referrals to outside providers if you require additional recovery support.
They accept most major insurance plans, Medicaid and Medicare. They’re also accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
