Clinic Description

BHG Chesapeake Treatment Center, the former Affinity Healthcare Group, offers drug rehab services in Chesapeake, Virginia. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare for young adults and adults.

At BHG Chesapeake Treatment Center, clients are evaluated and assigned to a case management team. Licensed clinicians administer FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone, buprenorphine, and Suboxone, to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal symptoms. Clients are supervised during dosing to discourage relapse.

In addition to medication management, clients participate in group and individual counseling. Dual diagnosis approaches are used to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Family resources are also available, and clients may be referred to outside facilities and specialized substance abuse programs.

BHG Chesapeake Treatment Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

BHG Chesapeake Treatment Center offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicare and Medicaid, and is in-network with Aetna, Humana, and Optum/United Healthcare. Please check your insurance provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
