Clinic Description
American Medicine and Health Advocates (AMHA) offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The center provides medication-assisted treatment, intensive outpatient (IOP) and general outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare for young adults and adults.
At AMHA, clients undergo a personalized evaluation and are assigned a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions include methadone treatments to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal pains. Additional pharmacological services and drug screenings are provided to prevent relapse.
Besides medication management, clients also participate in individual, family, couples, and group counseling to enhance emotional wellness. Clients may receive family and community resources, career coaching, and psychotherapy to develop life skills and healthy daily living habits. AMHA may make referrals to additional treatment centers for specialized substance abuse programs.
