Clinic Description
Medication Assisted Recovery, formerly the Bluegrass Narcotics Addictions Program, is part of the New Vista network in Lexington, Kentucky. This center offers drug rehab services, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT), intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient (OP), and aftercare services for children, teenagers, and adults. Specialized services are available for justice-involved persons. Language interpreters are available upon request.
At Medication Assisted Recovery, clients are evaluated and assigned to a case management team. Licensed clinicians administer FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, and disulfiram, to ease withdrawal pains and reduce cravings. Clients are supervised during dosing and throughout their program to prevent relapse.
In addition to medication management, clients may also receive drug testing and undergo individual and group therapy to build resilience. Family resources and enrollment in a 12-step program are also available. Clients may also attend intensive outpatient sessions online or be referred to other New Vista centers, including residential inpatient care, for specialized substance abuse programs.
Medication Assisted Recovery is accredited by The Joint Commission, LegitScript, and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics.
Medication Assisted Recovery offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicare and Medicaid and may be in-network with Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, TRICARE, and Wellpoint.
