Clinic Description
The Boston Medical Center’s Office-Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT) Program is located in Boston, Massachusetts, and offers treatment and care to men and women living with drug or substance addictions and behavioral health challenges. Through OBAT, clients can receive Suboxone treatments, counseling services, and compassionate care.
Boston Medical Center’s Office-Based Addiction Treatment utilizes medication-assisted treatment (MAT) via FDA-approved medications including Suboxone, Sublocade, and naltrexone (Vivitrol, Revia). Clients work with professionals trained in addiction recovery including nurses, physicians, social workers, patient care coordinators, recovery coaches, and others. As clients navigate detox through the OBAT program, they will have access to same-day medication, overdose education, and counseling services.
As clients exit detox, Office-Based Addiction Treatment Program can help connect individuals to local social supports that promote their continued sobriety. This can include access to 12 Step programs such as Narcotics Anonymous (NA), continued counseling, and access to benefits including employment, food security, insurance, etc.
