Lancaster Avenue Treatment Center methadone clinics in Delaware offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help people whose lives have been negatively affected by substance abuse disorder. Its MAT programs include the provision of methadone and suboxone to help curb patients’ withdrawal symptoms and cravings. The methadone clinic wilmington DE also offers behavioral health services that utilize an evidence-based, client-centered approach that encourages patients to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Other services provided by the Lancaster Avenue Treatment Center include personalized and group counseling, an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that helps clients with organizing their goals for recovery, and integrated services in the form of Perinatal Program and the Infectious Disease Clinic. For patients to be enrolled they must be at least 18 years old and be opioid-dependent for a minimum of one year. Admission at the treatment center is based on need but priority is given to injecting drug users, pregnant women, and Delaware residents.
