Clinic Description
CARE Hawaii, based in Honolulu, Hawaii, offers drug rehab services for substance use disorder (SUD). The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), inpatient (IP), partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient (OP) programs, and aftercare programs for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for adolescents. A hotline and mobile care unit are also available.
At CARE Hawaii, clients undergo an evaluation and receive an individualized program. A case management team may administer medications, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, to reduce cravings and improve withdrawal symptoms. Clients also begin counseling to begin the recovery process.
Along with medication management and stabilization, clients may receive group and individual therapy in inpatient, day programs, or in outpatient settings. Care may include dual diagnosis interventions to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Clients may also be referred to outside treatment facilities or specialized programs.
CARE Hawaii offers self-pay and financing options. The center may be in-network with insurance providers, such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan, Optum, TRICARE, and Wellpoint. Please check your healthcare provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
