Their MAT program takes a whole client approach to recovery by combining the use of FDA approved medications with behavioral therapy, addiction education and counseling. The medications they use include methadone, buprenorphine and naltrexone given to reduce the severity of withdrawal symptoms and improve client comfort.
Once the medical detox process is complete, clients can attend individual and group counseling sessions that incorporate evidence based practices as well as other recovery resources including life skills training, relapse prevention training and peer support groups. MAT maintenance programs are available for clients who require longer-term pharmacotherapy beyond the initial detox phase.
