Clinic Description
Community Medical Services of Tucson, located in Tucson, Arizona, is a CARF-accredited and state-licensed facility that offers drug rehab and detox services to men, women and members of the LGBTQ community. Clients are supported through medication assisted treatment (MAT), counseling and community resources. The facility accepts a range of payment options including self-pay, Medicaid and private insurance.
MAT allows clients to safely detox from substance dependencies using FDA approved medications including methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone (Vivitrol), and Suboxone. MAT is administered under the care of trained medical professionals to ensure withdrawal symptoms are managed safely.
As clients exit detox, they will be connected to other resources. These include individual and group therapy, case management, and peer-led support such as 12 Step groups like Narcotics Anonymous (NA).
