Clinic Description
Community Medical Services offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery in Phoenix, Arizona. The facility on Cactus Road provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare services for young adults, adults, and American Indian/Alaskan Native groups. Specialized services are available for pregnant and postpartum women and justice-involved persons.
At Community Medical Services’s Phoenix on Cactus site, clients undergo a personalized evaluation and are assigned a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone, buprenorphine (Suboxone, Subutex, Sublocade), and naltrexone (Vivitrol), to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal pains. Clients also participate in counseling to prevent relapse.
In addition to medication management, clients receive individual and group therapy, and peer support approaches. Clients build resilience and emotional wellness through educational workshops and follow-up visits. Additional referrals are provided for outside treatment centers for substance abuse programs.
Community Medical Services is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the American Association for the Treatment of Opioid Dependence (AATOD).
Community Medical Services offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicare and Medicaid and is in a network with American Indian Health Plan, Humana, NaphCare, Navajo Nation, TriWest, and United Healthcare.
