Clinic Description
Located in Tucson, Arizona, COPE Community Services’s 5th Avenue Clinic provides behavioral health care and addiction recovery services for adolescents and adults. Their programs include medication-assisted treatment, an intensive outpatient program, and aftercare support. There are specialized services for clients with HIV/AIDS, folks facing criminal drug charges, pregnant and postpartum women, intravenous drug users, and those with co-occurring conditions. Telehealth appointments may be available.
Their medication program helps you detox from alcohol, opioids, and other substances under medical supervision. Providers can administer FDA-approved addiction medications like methadone and Suboxone to help reduce the physical symptoms of withdrawal and lower the risk of relapse.
You can also attend individual and group counseling sessions and health education courses to more closely understand their addictions and identify triggers. That way, you’ll learn healthy coping skills. Holistic therapies like acupuncture are also available, along with evidence-based approaches such as motivational interviewing. If you require additional recovery support services, providers can make referrals to outside resources.
They’re in-network with many commercial insurance providers. They also accept Medicare. Contact your individual provider to verify your coverage as out of network benefits may vary. They’re also accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
