Crisis Care Center

The Restoration Center, which includes the Crisis Care Center and is part of the Center for Health Care Services Network, offers drug rehab services, including opioid recovery, in San Antonio, Texas. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), detox, dual diagnosis care, inpatient (IP), outpatient (OP), and aftercare services for young adults, adults, and justice-involved persons. Services are available in English, Amharic, Arabic, Hmong, Pashto, Persian, and Spanish.

At The Restoration Center, clients are evaluated and assigned to a case management team. Clinicians administer FDA-approved prescriptions, which may include methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, to ease withdrawal pains and reduce cravings. Clients also participate in counseling to prevent relapse.

In addition to medication management, clients may be eligible for short-term residential care, urgent psychiatric care, and long-term sobriety programs. Motivational interviewing and medical clearances are provided for justice-involved clients. Mobile units and Telehealth options are available. The Restoration Center can also make referrals for outside treatment centers and specialized substance abuse programs.

The Restoration Center is accredited by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), the National Health Service Corps (NHSC), and Texas Health and Human Services.

The Restoration Center offers self-pay and financing options. The center may be in a network with insurance providers, such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, TRICARE, and Wellpoint.
