CuraWest

CuraWest is an alcohol and drug rehab, which includes opioid recovery, in Denver, Colorado. The center offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), detox, dual diagnosis care, inpatient programs (IP), transitional residential care, and aftercare for young adults and adults.

At CuraWest, clients undergo a personalized assessment and are assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, such as Suboxone, Subutex, Serax, benzodiazepine, lorazepam, diazepam, chlordiazepoxide, and benzo tapers to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal. Clients may also receive over-the-counter painkillers to assist the detox process

In addition to detox, clients also participate in individual and group counseling to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Education workshops, experiential therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and holistic treatments are provided to prevent relapse, and clients are enrolled in 12 12-step programs and other peer support groups. Inpatient care generally lasts up to 21 days. CuraWest may refer the client to its residential care center, an outpatient facility, or another treatment center.

CuraWest is accredited by The Joint Commission, LegitScript, and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

CuraWest offers self-pay and financing options. The center is in a network with Aetna, Anthem, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cofinity, Colorado Access, First Health Network, Independence BCBS, Mines, and Molina Healthcare. Please check your insurance provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
