Denver CARES, part of the Denver Health network, offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery in Denver, Colorado. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), inpatient (IP) and outpatient programs (OP), transitional housing, and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for gender-specific groups and justice-involved persons. Services are available in over 200 languages through interpreters.
At Denver CARES, up to 100 clients are evaluated and assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone and Suboxone, may be used to ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. Meals are included. Clients are monitored 24/7 and undergo evidence-based counseling to discourage relapse.
Besides medication management, clients participate in individual and group therapy in transitional housing. Educational workshops, motivational interviews, mediation, and holistic therapy are also available to promote long-term sobriety. Career coaching and family resources are also provided. The transitional housing programs range from 60-90 days. Denver CARES may also make referrals for outside treatment centers and specialized substance abuse programs.
Denver CARES offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicare and Medicaid and is in network with Aetna, Anthem BlueCross/BlueShield, Child Health Plan Plus, Cigna, Colorado Access, Denver Health Medical Plan, First Health, MultiPlan, Rocky Mountain Health Plans, TriCare West, and United Healthcare.
