Denver Health’s Behavioral Health Center offers alcohol and drug rehab services, which include opioid recovery, in Denver, Colorado. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), detox, dual diagnosis care, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for adolescents, veterans, and pregnant and postpartum women.
At Denver Health, clients undergo a personalized assessment and are assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone, Vivitrol, Antabuse, naltrexone/Vivitrol, and Suboxone, are used to ease withdrawal pains and reduce cravings. Clients also participate in drug/urine tests and take-home dosing to prevent relapse.
Adolescents may detox through the STEPS program, which includes a monitored MAT program. This evidence-based service uses acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) approaches, including family resources and interventions. The adolescent detox program is available 24/7.
In addition to medication management, clients also participate in counseling to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Clients use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and peer support to develop resilience and promote healthy daily living habits. Denver Health may make referrals to outside treatment centers or within its network for specialized substance abuse programs.
Denver Health offers self-pay and financing options.
