Clinic Description

Rafael “Paloma” Rios Center, part of the Rincon Family Services network and also known as El Rincon Community Clinic, offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery in Chicago, Illinois. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), dual diagnosis care, outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized programs are available for adolescents and justice-involved persons. Select services are available in English and Spanish.

At Rafael “Paloma” Rios Center, clients undergo a personalized assessment and are assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, are used to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal symptoms. Clients are monitored and receive drug tests to prevent relapse.

In addition to medication management, clients participate in evidence-based counseling, family therapy, and peer support groups. The Rincon network may provide life skills development, career counseling, prevention and education workshops, and trauma therapy to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Referrals may be available to outside treatment centers and specialized substance abuse programs.

The Rincon Family Services network offers self-pay and financing options. The center may be in-network with insurance providers such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, United Healthcare, and Wellpoint.
