Clinic Description
The Chicago River North office of the Family Guidance Center network offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery in Chicago, Illinois. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), dual diagnosis care, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), general outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare programs. Specialized services are available for justice-involved persons.
At Family Guidance Center – Chicago River North, clients receive a personalized screening and are assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone, buprenorphine, and injectable naltrexone, are used to ease withdrawal and reduce cravings. Additional evidence-based treatments and drug screenings are provided to prevent relapse. Justice-involved clients may be referred to partnered correctional facilities for Vivitrol injections.
In addition to medication management, clients receive treatments to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Clients participate in group and individual therapy, family counseling, trauma therapy, and holistic care to promote healthy living habits. Telehealth services are available. Referrals for acute cases may be made to Family Guidance Center’s inpatient treatment center or other outside facilities for substance abuse and primary care.
The Family Guidance Center is accredited by The Joint Commission.
The Family Guidance Center offers self-pay and financing options. The center may be in-network with insurance providers such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, TRICARE, and Wellpoint.
