Clinic Description

Harbor Springs Counseling Services methadone clinics in Georgia is an Outpatient Medication-Assisted recovery facility for persons dealing with opioid dependency. Patients considered for admission are confidentially evaluated through a systematic assessment process before doing an initial screening. This is proceeded by an interview with a professional counselor. If an individual is determined appropriate to receive treatment they will then be scheduled for a physical examination. For the persons deemed inappropriate for treatment will be referred to try other services. The methadone clinic in Austell GA combines its medication-assisted services with individual and group counseling to give a more comprehensive treatment program. One-on-one counseling is required of all patients who are enrolled in opiate treatment programs. A counselor is assigned to each patient for regular weekly. During the initial phase of treatment, a minimum of two hours per month is spent with a counselor. For group counseling, patients must attend two sessions per month.
