Clinic Description
The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is an alcohol and drug rehab, including opioid recovery, in San Diego, California. The center offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), detox, dual diagnosis care, partial hospitalization (PHP), virtual intensive outpatient (IOP), virtual general outpatient (OP), and aftercare programs for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for adolescents.
At The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, clients undergo a personalized evaluation and are assigned a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, may be used to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal. Additional pharmacological approaches are available to prevent relapse.
In addition to medication management, clients participate in varying intensities of individual and group therapy, depending on the acuteness of their treatment. Nutritional guidelines, holistic treatments like yoga and meditations, family resources, and spiritual care are all provided. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and enrollment in 12-step programs are available to build emotional wellness. Referrals to a Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation inpatient clinic or outside treatment center for substance abuse programs are also available.
The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is accredited by The Joint Commission, LegitScript, the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP), and the California Department of Health Care Services.
