Clinic Description

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is provided at one of the best methadone clinics in Massachusetts – Health Care Resource Centers New Bedford. This New Bedford methadone clinic specializes in treating opioid disorders primarily with methadone as the number one medication in relieving withdrawal. The second most used medication is buprenorphine. There are also counselors at the clinic that offer a wide range of therapies, including the group sessions and individual consultations. One of the options is, if someone is a patient, to browse through the group counseling catalog and choose which session will help them the most. They can enjoy the support of other people who have gone through the same and speed up their recovery. The HCRC New Bedford unites with other communities to provide their patients with best possible care. One of them is the Greater New Bedford Opioid Task Force and many others that contribute to battling opioid addiction.
