Clinic Description
HEROES Clinic (Houston Emergency Opioid Engagement System) is a drug rehab in Houston, Texas, for opioid recovery. The center offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), outpatient programs, and aftercare services for young adults and adults. HEROES Clinic currently does not offer non-English services.
At HEROES Clinic, clients receive personalized evaluations and screenings before being assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, which may include methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, are used to ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce chronic pain. Clients also receive counseling to prevent relapse.
Medication management can also include same-day prescriptions, and clients may register on a mobile recovery tracking app to gauge their progress. In addition to medication-assisted treatment, clients receive rehabilitation coaching, family resources and therapy, and peer-support group therapy and mentorships. Community programs and workshops are also available. Clients may also be referred to outside treatment centers for specialized substance abuse care.
All services are free of charge. Additional prescriptions are offered with a self-pay option or are covered by insurance providers, such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, and Wellpoint. Please check with your insurance provider for specific details concerning out of network benefits.
