Clinic Description
HRDI – Human Resources Development Institute BRASS 1 facility on 340th Street is part of the Friend Health network and offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery in Chicago, Illinois. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), inpatient treatment, outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare services for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for children, gender-specific groups, pregnant and postpartum women, homeless/indigent persons, and underserved communities.
At HRDI, clients are assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, can be used to reduce chronic pain and ease withdrawal symptoms. Medication management can also include health screenings and therapy to prevent relapse.
In addition to medication-assisted treatment, clients enter inpatient or outpatient programs. Inpatient programs can accommodate 10 children up to four years old. Outpatient programs can include telehealth. In both modalities, clients receive group and individual counseling and emotional wellness training for co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Life skills development programs can assist clients with school, housing, finances, and gambling addictions.
HRDI is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
HRDI offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicare and Medicaid and may be in-network with insurance providers such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, TRICARE, and Wellpoint.
