Clinic Description

The Intake, Transfer, and Release (ITR) Facility offers drug rehab services in Phoenix, Arizona. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare for justice-involved persons. Specialized services may be available for pregnant and postpartum women, and adolescents.

At the ITR Facility, clients who were already enrolled in methadone treatment programs before their arrest are eligible to continue to receive FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone, Vivitrol, and Narcan to ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings while incarcerated. Clients also participate in court-ordered counseling to prevent relapse.

Clients in ITR Facilities are transferred to other facilities within 5 days, and clients may be eligible for individual and group therapy and educational workshops, following their programs at those facilities. Upon release, clients may receive referrals to outside treatment centers as needed.

ITR Facility’s methadone program may accrue additional charges. The center may be in a network with insurance providers, such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, United Healthcare, and Wellpoint. Please contact your insurance provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
