Clinic Description
Intensive Treatment Systems, in Phoenix, Arizona, is an alcohol and drug rehab, including opioid recovery. The center on Coolidge St. offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), dual diagnosis care, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for pregnant and postpartum women, veterans, American Indian/Alaskan Natives, and gender-specific groups.
At Intensive Treatment Systems, clients undergo a personalized evaluation and are assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone, Suboxone, Vivitrol, and Narcan, are provided to ease withdrawal pains and reduce cravings. Additional cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches are used to prevent relapse. Walk-ins and referrals are accepted, and transportation between centers is available. A mobile unit is also available.
In addition to medication management, clients in the Central clinic participate in individual and group therapy for 9 hours per week for 12 weeks. Motivational enhancement therapy (MET) and multidimensional family therapy (MDFT) are used to enhance emotional wellness and life skills. Clients can also join an alumni program for peer support and mentorships. Intensive Treatment Systems may also make referrals for outside treatment centers for substance abuse programs.
Intensive Treatment Systems is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
