Clinic Description

John F. Kennedy Drug Treatment Center, formerly Methadone Treatment Center, offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for seniors, children, and adolescents in other JFK Behavioral Health Centers. Limited services may be available in Spanish.

At John F. Kennedy Drug Treatment Center, clients are evaluated and provided a case management team. Clinicians administer FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone, to alleviate withdrawal pain and reduce cravings. Mobile and emergency interventions may be available for acute cases.

Clients can coordinate their medication management with other JFK Behavioral Health Centers for additional support, including inpatient (IP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and general outpatient programs (OP). Additional referrals may be made to outside treatment centers for specialized substance abuse programs.

John F. Kennedy Drug Treatment Center offers self-pay and financing options. The center may be in a network with providers such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, United Healthcare, and Wellpoint.
