Clinic Description
Formerly known as the Johns Hopkins Hospital Program for Alcoholism and Other Drug Dependencies, the Johns Hopkins Broadway Center for Addiction offers alcohol and drug rehab services for adults with acute or chronic substance abuse disorders in Baltimore, Maryland. Their gender-specific services include medication-assisted treatment, residential treatment, assorted outpatient programs, and aftercare services.
Their medication services are customized to help you safely detox from alcohol and substances. If medications are required to ease the physical symptoms of withdrawal, minimize cravings, and reduce relapse risk, providers can administer FDA-approved addiction medications.
Female clients requiring more intensive care can begin treatment at the facility’s designated sober living house. Clients in all levels of care receive individual counseling services, addiction education, relapse-prevention training, and sobriety planning services.
Staff take a whole-client approach to addiction recovery, offering an array of services to help clients understand their addictions, address underlying conditions, and create a foundation for long-term recovery. In addition to counseling, education, and access to 12 Step meetings, you may also receive referrals to other programs within the hospital or greater community. Med maintenance programs are available for clients who require continued pharmacotherapy support.
Operating within Johns Hopkins Medicine, they accept most commercial insurance plans, Medicaid and Medicare. Speak with your provider to verify your coverage because out of network benefits could vary. They’re accredited by The Joint Commission.
