Clinic Description

Kirkbride Center offers drug rehab services and opioid recovery in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), detox, dual diagnosis care, inpatient (IP), outpatient (OP), and aftercare services for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for gender-specific groups.

At Kirkbride Center, clients undergo a personalized evaluation and are assigned a case management team. FDA-approved medications, including methadone, naltrexone (Vivitrol) and buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone) are used to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal pains. Up to 21 clients can detox at the same time. Medical-free detox is also available through holistic treatment and counseling.

Up to 249 clients may be in inpatient care at any given time. Clients in inpatient and outpatient receive group and individual counseling to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Workshops are provided to help prevent relapse, and clients participate in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approaches and trauma therapy. Kirkbride Center may make referrals for specialized substance abuse programs in outside treatment centers.

Kirkbride Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

Kirkbride Center offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicaid and is in a network with Aetna, Bravo, Community Behavioral Health, CoventryCares, Independence BlueCross, Keystone First, Magellan Health, Medical Assistance, and United Healthcare.
