Clinic Description
Located in Fort Worth, Texas, LAAM and Methadone Program Clinic is an alcohol and drug rehab center for military personnel, veterans, and their families, available through the Disabled American Veterans. They provide medical detox services, outpatient treatment and aftercare support, including dedicated services for intravenous drug users, pregnant and postpartum women and clients with co-occurring conditions.
Their MAT program is designed to help clients safely withdraw from alcohol, opioids, and other substances. Licensed physicians can administer FDA-approved medications, including levacetylmethadol and methadone, to improve client comfort and lessen the effects of withdrawal symptoms.
To help clients re-integrate into society and achieve long term recovery, providers also meet with clients individually to provide individual and group counseling services, addiction education and relapse prevention training. If supplemental behavioral or mental health services are required, providers can refer clients to local, outside services for extended treatment. Clients requiring longer term pharmacotherapy services can begin MAT maintenance programs.
The LAAM and Methadone Program Clinic provides free professional assistance to veterans and their families. However, they may refer clients to outside providers for additional recovery support. These providers may work with major insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Humana, United Healthcare, Bright Health, ComPsych and others. Speak with your provider to verify coverage because out of network benefits can vary.
