Clinic Description

Located in Columbus, Ohio, Maryhaven is an alcohol and drug rehab center for adults. They provide medication-assisted treatment, crisis intervention, residential treatment, an intensive outpatient program, and aftercare services, including specialized services for women of color, pregnant and postpartum women, native Spanish speakers, and those with co-occurring addictions and mental health disorders.

They take a motivational stepped-care approach to addiction recovery, starting with less intensive treatments that can gradually become more intensive or frequent depending on each client’s needs. Their medication services help you detox from alcohol and other substances with the support of FDA-approved medications like Suboxone, Vivitrol, and methadone.

While receiving medication, you’ll also attend weekly individual and group counseling sessions to help them understand and overcome their addictions. Providers can also make referrals to outside resources if additional mental health counseling, trauma-informed therapy, or psychiatric services are required. Clients requiring more intensive care can transition to residential or outpatient treatment, with available services that include continued counseling, addiction education, 12 Step programs, medical or nutritional interventions, and holistic treatments including animal and recreational therapy.

They take most commercial insurance plans, Medicare and Medicaid. Residents of Franklin County, Ohio can receive treatment through the Franklin County Alcohol Drug and Mental Health Board regardless of their ability to pay. Always check with your provider to verify coverage, as out-of-network benefits could vary. They’re also LegitScript-certified and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
