Clinic Description

Mile High Recovery Center is an alcohol and drug rehab, which includes opioid recovery, in Denver, Colorado. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), dual diagnosis care, inpatient (IP) and outpatient programs (OP), sober living, and aftercare services for young adults, adults, and the LGBTQ+ community.

At Mile High Recovery Center, clients undergo a personalized evaluation and are assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, including Suboxone and Vivitrol, are used to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal pains. Mile High Recovery Center also provides counseling to prevent relapse. Rehab programs are available in 30-, 60-, and 90-day intervals

Besides medication management, clients in residential care receive cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDT) approaches to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Clients also participate in adventure and equine therapy, nutritional guidelines, and education workshops to develop healthy living routines. Mile High Recovery Center may make referrals to outside treatment centers for substance abuse programs.

Mile High Recovery Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and The Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Addiction Professionals and Their Allies (NALGAP).
