Clinic Description

NMSAS Recovery Center methadone clinics in Michigan support persons who are having difficulties with a dependence on opioids, heroin, prescription pain medication, and other opiates. It does so through medication-assisted treatment utilizing methadone, buprenorphine, Zubsolv, and naltrexone. At Northern Michigan Substance Abuse Services, Inc. each patient that meets the criteria to receive medication-assisted treatment (MAT), meets with the Medical Director who then evaluates them to determine the appropriate medication options. The NMSAS Recovery Center works with each patient to ensure that their services are the best fit for the patient’s recovery. The Gaylord methadone clinic federally certified opiate treatment program combines its MAT with individual, group, and family counseling services to further assist patients and give them a better shot at full recovery. The type and frequency of these counseling services will depend on each patient’s needs and capabilities. Counseling sessions are conducted by highly qualified counselors in a professional and caring manner. NMSAS Recovery Center offers this and its other services in a safe and compassionate environment.
