Clinic Description
Talbert House’s ADAPT for Men & Women program, in Cincinnati, Ohio, offers alcohol and drug rehab services. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), inpatient (IP), outpatient (OP), sober living, and aftercare programs for young adults and adults Specialized programs are available for children, teenagers, justice-involved persons, and veterans.
At Talbert House, clients are evaluated and assigned to a case management team. Licensed clinicians administer FDA-approved prescriptions, which may include methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, and disulfiram, to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal pains, and stabilize at-risk clients. Clients are supervised during dosing and throughout their treatment to prevent relapse. Court-ordered medication-assisted treatment may be provided in specialized facilities, while general treatment recovery services may not have available inpatient services.
In addition to medication management, clients participate in individual and group counseling, family therapy, and long-term recovery programs. Court-ordered clients may require additional services, and clients may be eligible for sober living or transitional housing. Referrals are provided for outside facilities with specialized substance abuse programs.
Talbert House is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
Talbert House offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Ohio Medicaid and may be in-network with insurance providers such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan, Optum, and Wellpoint. Please check your insurance provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
