Clinic Description

Talbert House’s ADAPT for Men & Women program, in Cincinnati, Ohio, offers alcohol and drug rehab services. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), inpatient (IP), outpatient (OP), sober living, and aftercare programs for young adults and adults Specialized programs are available for children, teenagers, justice-involved persons, and veterans.

At Talbert House, clients are evaluated and assigned to a case management team. Licensed clinicians administer FDA-approved prescriptions, which may include methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, and disulfiram, to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal pains, and stabilize at-risk clients. Clients are supervised during dosing and throughout their treatment to prevent relapse. In addition to medication management, clients participate in individual and group counseling, family therapy, and long-term recovery programs. Court-ordered clients may require additional services, and clients may be eligible for sober living or transitional housing. Referrals are provided for outside facilities with specialized substance abuse programs.
