Clinic Description
Positive Recovery Centers is an alcohol and drug rehab, including opioid recovery, in San Antonio, Texas. The center offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), dual diagnosis care, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), general outpatient (OP), and aftercare programs for young adults and adults.
At the San Antonio facility, clients undergo personalized evaluations and are assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, may be used to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal. Clients also receive counseling and enroll in 12 Steps Programs to prevent relapse.
Besides medication management, clients participate in various levels of individual and group therapy to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness approaches are available. Partial hospitalization requires 20 hours per week while individual outpatient lasts 6-8 weeks, with 9-12 hours per week. Family and community resources are provided to develop life skills and build resilience. Referrals for acute cases may be made to the Positive Recovery Centers network, including inpatient care and other treatment centers for substance abuse.
Positive Recovery Centers offers self-pay and financing options. The San Antonio facility may be in-network with providers such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, United Healthcare, and Wellpoint. Please check your insurance provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
