Clinic Description
Located in Jacksonville, Florida, River Region Human Services provides primary, behavioral, and mental health care and addiction recovery services for adolescents and adults. This includes medication assisted treatment, residential treatment, outpatient treatment and aftercare services for clients who require medical detox support. Specialized services are available for pregnant and postpartum women, intravenous drug users, clients with HIV/AIDS and clients with co-occurring conditions.
Their MAT program includes services tailored to the unique needs of each client. Licensed physicians may administer FDA-approved medications, including methadone, Suboxone, Subutex, and naltrexone (Vivitrol) to ease symptoms as clients withdraw from alcohol, opioids and other substances.
Once the medical detox process is complete, a team of multi-disciplinary providers works individually with each client to set the foundation for long-term recovery. Depending on the severity of their condition and recommended level of care, this may include entry into a residential or outpatient program, where they can access one-on-one and group counseling, substance abuse education, and mental health services. Providers can also offer referrals for outside medical services, and longer term MAT maintenance plans are available for clients who need continued pharmacotherapy support.
River Region Human Services accepts most major insurance plans, including Sunshine, United Healthcare, VA Community Care Network, Avmed, Molina, Ambetter, Humana and Careplus. They also accept Medicare and Florida Medicaid. Please contact your insurance provider to verify coverage because out of network benefits can vary.
River Region Human Services is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and certified by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
