Clinic Description

Opioid dependency is known to have difficult symptoms of withdrawal. Headaches, nausea, anxiety, irritability and muscle aches are most common amongst the withdrawal symptoms from opioid use. With that in mind, the Sanford Treatment Center uses MAT or Medication Assisted Treatment to treat patients of opioid use disorder. They us MAT because they believe patients should not go through the hardships of withdrawal. Instead by using methadone and other FDA approved medications they ease those withdrawal symptoms and help patients control cravings. By doing so patients can focus on their counseling sessions. With the help of licensed counselors, patients will work through any mental and emotional attachments to opiates. At the methadone clinic Sanford NC side, they believe paring counseling with MAT is the best way to treat patients permanently, and help them return as productive members of society. This is why the Sanford Treatment Center is considered to be one of the best methadone clinics in North Carolina.
