SHAR

SHAR (Self Help Addiction Rehabilitation) is a behavioral health facility located in Detroit, Michigan. This facility provides drug rehab and substance abuse treatment services to men and women living with an alcohol, opioid or substance dependency. The facility provides medication assisted treatment, inpatient care, outpatient care and sober living accommodations. They accept a range of self pay options, Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance.

At SHAR clients have access to medication assisted treatment (MAT) using FDA approved medications including methadone and naltrexone (Vivitrol). The facility allows individuals to navigate detox under the care of trained medical professionals while having access to medication management, counseling and peer support.

As clients exit detox, SHAR inpatient and outpatient care can help them establish critical skills and habits for continued sobriety. These skills and habits are developed through group and individual counseling sessions, peer support and substance addiction education.
