Clinic Description
Pathways–Buffalo, part of the Sisters of Charity Hospital and the Catholic Health network, offers drug and alcohol rehab services in Buffalo, New York. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP) programs, and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized programs are available for seniors, gender-specific groups, and pregnant and postpartum women. Services are available in English, Arabic, Burmese, Spanish, Somali, and through language interpreters.
At Pathways, clients are assessed and assigned to an individual treatment plan. Licensed clinicians administer FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone, Suboxone, and Vivitrol, to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal pains. Clients are supervised during dosing and throughout their treatment programs to prevent relapse.
In addition to medication management, clients receive individual and group counseling to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Clients participate in life skills development, career coaching and daily living planning, faith-based services, and holistic treatments. Clients with acute alcohol or substance use disorder may be eligible for inpatient rehabilitation that can take up to 30 days. Referrals are available for specialized substance abuse programs in outside facilities.
Pathways–Buffalo is accredited by The Joint Commission.
