Clinic Description
START Treatment & Recovery Centers – Fort Greene offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery in Brooklyn, New York. The center offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), outpatient programs, and aftercare services for young adults and adults, underserved communities, and justice-involved persons.
At Fort Greene, clients undergo a personalized evaluation and are assigned a case management team. Staff prescribe FDA-approved prescriptions for opiate agonists, which may include methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, to ease clients’ withdrawal symptoms and reduce chronic pain. Holistic and non-chemical medication management programs are also available.
In addition to medication-assisted treatment, clients participate in individual therapy, family counseling, and psychotherapy to prevent relapse. Career training and primary care services are also available to strengthen resilience and promote healthy daily living routines. Referrals may be made to outside treatment centers for specialized drug abuse programs.
START Treatment & Recovery Centers is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
START Treatment & Recovery Centers offers self-pay and financing options.
