Located in Jacksonville, Florida, Stepping Stone Center for Recovery is an alcohol and drug rehab center for adults. Medication assisted treatment is an integral part of their addiction recovery program, helping clients detox from alcohol, opioids, and other drugs under medical supervision. In addition to MAT, clients can also access inpatient, intensive outpatient and general outpatient programs, as well as aftercare support. Specialized services are available for pregnant and postpartum women, intravenous drug users, military personnel and veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community and clients with co-occurring conditions.

Their MAT program provides medical detox services for clients in addiction recovery. In addition to providing counseling and addiction education, licensed physicians can administer FDA-approved medications to ease withdrawal symptoms and improve client comfort. These medications include Suboxone, buprenorphine and naltrexone for opioid detox and acamprosate and disulfiram for alcohol detox.

Depending on their individualized treatment plan and required level of care, clients may access residential, IOP or OP programs when detox is complete. These programs incorporate individual, group, and family therapy, addiction education, relapse prevention training, 12-step program facilitation and several evidence-based treatment modalities including rational emotional behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. If clients require longer term pharmacotherapy support, MAT maintenance plans are available.
