The River Source – Phoenix Drug Addiction Treatment

The River Source is an alcohol and drug rehab, including opioid recovery, in Phoenix, Arizona. The center offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT), detox, inpatient (IP), partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and aftercare programs for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for veterans.

At The River Source, clients undergo a customized evaluation and are assigned a case management team. FDA-approved medications, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, are used to alleviate withdrawal pains and reduce cravings under 24/7 supervision. Detox can also include naturopathic remedies, such as vitamins, amino acids, and dry saunas, to prevent relapse.

In addition to medication management, clients also participate in individual and group therapy to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Inpatient and outpatient programs include holistic therapy, life skills development, enrollment in 12 Steps Programs and other peer support groups, and family resources to promote healthy daily living routines.The River Souce may make additional referrals for specialized substance abuse programs in outside treatment centers.
