Clinic Description

Beacon Mental Health is a mental health and substance abuse treatment center in Kansas City, Missouri. It used to be called Tri-County Mental Health. They may offer medication assisted treatment using buprenorphine and naltrexone for substance use disorder. This outpatient facility treats adults ages 18+ as well as adolescents ages 12-17.

Programs at Beacon Mental Health may provide medications as part of comprehensive substance use treatment plans. These plans can also include Individual therapy, group counseling, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, substance abuse counseling, trauma counseling, relapse prevention education, and 12 Step program facilitation as well as discharge planning.

Beacon Mental Health is accredited by CARF. It may accept insurance plans from select insurance providers such as Aetna, Cigna, BlueCross BlueShield, United Healthcare, and HCSC. Contact your insurance provider to verify your benefits because coverage and out of network benefits will vary.
