UM Addiction Treatment Center is a methadone center and addiction treatment center in Baltimore, Maryland. As part of the University of Maryland Medical Center, this facility provides outpatient medication-assisted treatment and other addiction treatments for adults.
Within its program, the center’s staff offers methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone to reduce withdrawal symptoms and help with recovery management. The facility offers addiction care at outpatient and partial hospitalization levels of care.
In addition to medications, programs can include individual counseling, group counseling, relapse prevention planning, workforce development services, care coordination as clients’ Health Home, and community support spaces. The facility also offers services in ASL for deaf and hard-of-hearing clients.
