Clinic Description
Volunteer Comprehensive Treatment Center is one of the premier methadone clinics in Tennessee that provides MAT (medication-assisted treatment) to persons who are living with an unhealthy dependence on opioids. Its comprehensive care package includes a combination of effective and safe medication and therapeutic services such as counseling. The medications supplied by the Chattanooga methadone clinic are Subutex, Suboxone, and Methadone. The specific dosage that is administered is based on the health status and needs of each patient. Modifications to treatment will depend on the patient’s needs and will be conducted by one of the treatment center’s licensed medical professionals. Volunteer Comprehensive Treatment Center complements its MAT program with individual and group counseling. During Individual therapy patients meet with qualified counselors on a one-on-one basis. These sessions provide an opportunity for patients to discover the underlying reasons and the contributing factors that led to their addiction. Group therapy sessions provide an opportunity for patients to learn from other patients who usually share insight from their own addiction experiences.
