Clinic Description
Volunteers of America offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery in Indianapolis, Indiana. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), inpatient (IP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs, transitional housing, and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for justice-involved persons, veterans, underserved communities, homeless/indigent persons, and gender-specific groups. Services are available in English and Spanish.
At Volunteers of America, clients are assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, such as methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, or disulfiram, may be provided to relieve withdrawal pains and reduce cravings. Clients may also undergo counseling to prevent relapse.
In addition to medication management, clients receive group and individual therapy, couples therapy, and family resources to assist sobriety. Parenting skills and social services, such as transitional housing, may be available. Justice-involved men may be eligible for residential treatment, which includes motivational interviewing and limited legal services. Volunteers of America may make referrals for specialized substance abuse programs at outside treatment centers.
Volunteers of America is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the Better Business Bureau.
Volunteers of America offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicaid and Medicare and is in a network with Aetna, Anthem, MDWise, Managed Health Services, TRICARE, and United Healthcare. Please check your insurance provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
