Clinic Description
Walden House, part of the HealthRIGHT 360 network, offers drug rehab services, including opioid recovery, in San Francisco, California. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), detox, inpatient (IP) outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for gender-specific groups, underserved communities, pregnant and postpartum women, and justice-involved persons.
At Walden House’s gender-specific residential programs, clients are evaluated and assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, including Suboxone, are provided to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal symptoms. Detox programs can last from 3 to 7 days. Additional evidence-based counseling, career coaching, life skills development, and education classes are provided to discourage relapse.
After the inpatient program is complete, clients may be eligible for outpatient programs to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. The adult outpatient services center provides day and evening programs for men and women in a 90-day program. Additional facilities offer clients additional coping strategies to build resilience. Walden House may make additional referrals for specialized substance abuse programs in outside treatment centers.
HealthRIGHT 360 is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the California Department of Health Care Services.
Walden House offers self-pay and financing options. Clients eligible for Healthy San Francisco, Medi-Cal, Medicare, FamilyPACT, or Covered California are accepted. Please check your insurance providers, such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Kaiser Permanente, Magellan Health, Optum, and Wellpoint for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
