Westside Community Services, in San Francisco, California, offers drug rehab services for opioid recovery. The center provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT), ambulatory detox, dual diagnosis care, outpatient programs (OP), and aftercare services for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for children, adolescents, and underserved communities.
At Westside Community Services, clients undergo a personalized evaluation and are assigned to a case management team. FDA-approved prescriptions, including methadone, are administered to reduce cravings and ease withdrawal pains. Clients also participate in urine screenings and counseling to prevent relapse.
Besides medication management, clients receive motivational counseling and educational workshops to address co-occurring mental and behavioral health disorders. Holistic treatment, community outreach in the Clubhouse program, and emotional wellness training are provided for long-term rehabilitation. Westside Community Services may make referrals to outside treatment centers for specialized substance abuse programs.
